WOLT is a smartphone app that offers take-out food delivery from many restaurants or fast foods in big cities. It works on almost the same principle as the competitive Uber Eats.
Wolt – promo, discount code
On the Internet there are promotional codes for Wolt which can be generated in the application. They work in the referral system and all reduce the value of the order by 6 euro or regional equivalent, which will be around 4-6 euros. There are no higher promo codes for Wolt at the moment. If you share your Wolt promo code, your friend will receive a 6 euro discount on his first order and you will get 6 euro in credits in Wolt for future orders. A similar system works in Uber Eats, so it is worth using while it exists.
It’s worth noting that every referral code works only in one country, so if you live in Norway using code from a friend from Sweden will not get you Norwegian krone and vice versa. Below is the list of Wolt promo codes that I could gather for different countries:
Poland’s Wolt promo code for -15 zł off for the first order: DARMO
Norway’s Wolt promo code for -100 NOK off the first order: I8Z2
Sweden’s Wolt promo code for -50 SEK off the first order: JUSQ
Hungary’s Wolt promo code for -1500 HUF off the first order: 4RRHB
Finland’s Wolt promo code for -5 EUR off the first order: FX5G
After registering in the Wolt (you need to supply an email address and activate it, then the phone number) go to the bottom tab Profile -> Enter the promotional code (Enter the discount code), enter the code and click -> Send. Immediately, you can order food with delivery to your house with a discount. The minimum order amount in Wolt is usually 9 euro and if you order below that, the application will simply charge you that minimum amount, so it’s worth adding something to the cart to make it 9 euros. Payment options are credit / debit cards.
How does Wolt work? Food delivery?
As I mentioned, Wolt works on a very similar principle to Uber Eats. The company even tries to promote in a similar way with referral system that worked for Uber and Uber Eats. It is an effective strategy and quite fair for consumers.
Wolt’s business model consists of delivering food from various restaurants, using the services of local couriers.
It is also worth noting that at present Wolt accepts orders for the delivery of food mainly from 11:30 to 22:00. If the restaurant is open, e.g. until midnight, we can order food, but with personal collection. This is due to the fact that the Wolt does not have such a large courier base, but it should change as Wolt grows bigger.
In addition to discount codes in Wolt, it is also worth mentioning the so-called wolt tokens – each token allows one free delivery of food. We can get them, for example, after entering a promotional code or with other special promotions that we find by checking the application on the phone. I got one when the delivery of my food was 15 minutes late.
Currently, WOLT is present in lots of European countries (Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Czechia, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania) in big cities like:
