MOZA Racing has announced several additions to its sim racing ecosystem during Game Developers Conference 2026 in San Francisco. The company introduced three new technologies: an AI-based coaching system called Racing Lab AI Coach, motion control software named MOZA Motion Manager, and a motion platform known as the HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuator.
The announcements were made ahead of the event’s exhibition floor opening at the Moscone Center, where MOZA is demonstrating the technologies through live simulation setups.
Racing Lab AI Coach
The Racing Lab AI Coach is presented as a training tool designed to help sim racers improve their driving technique. The system combines software analysis with direct hardware feedback through compatible MOZA wheelbases and active pedals.
According to MOZA, the platform includes an in-house developed AI driver trained using reinforcement learning. The company says the model can produce lap times comparable to professional drivers in some conditions. Instead of only reviewing telemetry data after a session, the system can also demonstrate steering and pedal inputs physically through the connected hardware.
MOZA describes the feature as a structured training environment intended for drivers at different skill levels, offering personalized practice paths based on performance and goals.
HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuator
Alongside the AI coaching system, MOZA revealed the HMA150 Haptic Motion Actuator, a motion platform designed to add physical movement to racing simulations.
The platform operates as a four-axis system providing three degrees of motion: pitch, roll, and heave. MOZA lists 150 mm of travel, speeds up to 300 mm per second, and peak acceleration exceeding 1g. The company also states that the actuator supports payloads up to 250 kg at full acceleration, or up to 350 kg with reduced performance.
One design change compared to many industrial motion systems is the integrated control electronics. Instead of requiring separate drive boxes or external servo controllers, the HMA150 houses the control components inside the actuator itself. The system runs on a 48V low-voltage DC setup, which MOZA says reduces installation complexity and makes the platform more suitable for home simulation environments.
The actuator also includes a high-frequency vibration system capable of reaching 150 Hz, intended to reproduce additional haptic feedback during gameplay.
MOZA Motion Manager
The third announcement is MOZA Motion Manager, software designed to generate motion feedback even in games that do not provide telemetry data or native peripheral support.
Rather than relying on direct game telemetry, the software analyzes visual and audio output from a game in real time. According to MOZA, this allows the system to detect events such as vehicle movement, impacts, or environmental effects and convert them into motion and vibration feedback through compatible hardware.
The company says this approach could extend motion support beyond traditional simulation titles to a wider range of games, including titles like Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cyberpunk 2077.
Demonstrations at GDC
MOZA is showcasing the Racing Lab AI Coach, Motion Manager software, and the HMA150 motion platform at its booth during the Game Developers Conference from March 9 to 13 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The company has not yet announced pricing or release dates for the new technologies.
