Wired Gamesir G7 SE vs Xbox One controller
I returned my G7, so for now I only have Gamesir G7 SE and Xbox One controller to show side by side in photos. If you compare the Gamesir to a Xbox One gamepad then the main difference is that is feels a little bit more bulky (better for bigger hands) and the thumbsticks are much smoother in use, but also have a slightly worse grip in the middle.
But now let’s get into comparing G7 vs G7 SE

- Both controllers have a similar design and layout, with comfortable grips and ergonomic button placement.
- The GameSir G7 features clicky mechanical buttons (xyba) and a clicky d-pad, making it ideal for games that require quick and precise inputs, like fighting games.

- Both controllers offer a 250 Hz polling rate, which means they have a fast enough response time and low input lag. There are now controllers with higher polling rates.
- The GameSir G7 SE and normal G7 can both be overclocked to 1000 Hz with a December 2023 firmware update. This will further reduce latency and make the controller even more responsive. Just download the update from Gamesir app to your controller, install it and it will work on PC and on Xbox consoles.
Customization and Profiles
- Both controllers can be customized using the GameSir app, which allows users to adjust settings like stick dead zones, trigger sensitivity, and vibration intensity.

In conclusion, the GameSir G7 and GameSir G7 SE are excellent controllers that offer great comfort and value for money. I would suggest going with G7 SE or the newer releases like G7 HE or G7 Pro.
