1000 Hz polling rate on Xbox
A 1000 Hz polling rate in a gaming controller refers to how many times per second the controller sends data to the connected device, such as a gaming console or PC. In simpler terms, it determines how responsive and quickly the controller communicates its status (like button presses or joystick movements) to the gaming system.
Both Gamesir G7 and G7 SE got the 1000 Hz update in December 2023, just download it via Gamesir app. The update was then taken away, but in January 2024 it’s back!
It’s a huge difference, because a standard Xbox One controller is 125Hz, which is 8ms input latency. 1000Hz is only 1ms latency.
