I got a chance to test the Soundpeats Space headphones and they are pretty great. These are over-ear headphones with really big battery (it lasted me just under 100 hours) with Active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.3 and low latency game mode which worked really well.
The Space headphones are made mostly of plastic, but they don’t feel cheap at all. I got the black ones with rose gold accents, which look cool without being too flashy. The ear cups and headband are comfy and well-padded, and they fit snugly on my head. There are just a few buttons for volume, power, and microphone mute, which is easy to keep track of.pen_spark
The Space headphones come with a SoundPeats app that lets you update the software and play around with the equalizer settings. There’s also a noise-cancelling feature, which is pretty cool for the price. I tried them out while mowing the lawn, and they did a decent job of blocking out the noise. I could still hear the mower a little bit, but it wasn’t enough to bother me while listening to a podcast.
The sound quality is pretty good, especially for the price. I listened to all sorts of music, from K-Pop to classical, and it all sounded pretty good. The only thing I noticed was a slight distortion at higher volumes, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.
The microphone quality wasn’t the best, though. People I talked to on the phone said I sounded a bit muffled, especially when I was outside and it was windy.
For a budget headphone, the Space comes with some surprising features. They have Bluetooth 5.3, which means you can connect them to two devices at the same time. There’s also an equalizer app that lets you adjust the sound to your liking, or you can choose from presets like “bass boost” or “classical music.”
Another cool feature is the “Game Mode,” which significantly reduces lag so the sound matches what you see on screen. I have tested this option in Counter Strike: GO and in Valorant and as a casual gamer it felt good, I couldn’t tell when comparing it to wired connection.
SoundPeats says the battery lasts for a super long time – 123 hours! I didn’t use them for that long, but they definitely last a long time on a single charge. I used them on and off for weeks before they finally died on me. The only weird thing was that the battery indicator in the app seemed to jump around a bit, but that could be a bug.
Since these are budget headphones, there are a couple of things they don’t have. There’s no little light to tell you if they’re on or off, and the instructions for the equalizer app weren’t very clear.

Are SoundPeats Space worth a buy?
The SoundPeats Space headphones really impressed me. The sound quality is great for the price, the noise-cancelling works well, and they’re comfortable to wear. The only downside is the microphone quality, but for casual listening, these are a fantastic bargain. They come in a nice box, but they don’t come with a carrying case, so you’ll need to get one separately.
If you’re looking for a good pair of over-ear headphones without breaking the bank, the SoundPeats Space are definitely worth checking out!
